Who We Are
Milestones of Love Society is a community-based organization supporting women and their children during periods of change. We recognize the gap between what is expected of women and the access they are given to meet those expectations. We support and partner intentionally in that space. Rooted in the concept of Novería, we focus on the in-between: where strength is assumed, but guidance is limited; where resilience is expected, but the rules are often unknown. Our work centres women, because when women are informed, supported, and grounded in their own understanding, families and communities are strengthened.
You Are Not Alone
Because it does takes a village..
Why We Focus on Single Mothers
Single mothers are often expected to manage complex systems — legal, educational, financial, and emotional — while carrying primary responsibility for their children. Many decisions are made in good faith, without full access to information, guidance, or support, and can lead to outcomes that were never anticipated.
We recognize that this is not about failure or fault. It is about access. Empowerment begins when women are given space to understand the landscape they are navigating, to ask questions without judgement, and to be supported as they make decisions that affect their families.
Our work acknowledges the courage it takes to rise, adapt, and keep moving forward. By honouring lived experience and strengthening access to clarity, care, and community, we support single mothers in building resilience and creating change — together, not alone.

Our Learning & Support Ecosystem
At the heart of our work is a shared belief: education, emotional well-being, and informed independence are deeply connected. Redboots Learning, Howell Academics, and Novería each serve a distinct role within a connected ecosystem that supports children, families, and women across different seasons of life.
Redboots Learning & Academy
Redboots Learning is an early learning environment focused on social-emotional development, foundational readiness, and relational safety. Programs support young children during critical developmental years by strengthening emotional regulation, communication, and confidence within a structured and nurturing setting.
Howell Academics
Howell Academics provides academic consulting, tutoring, and educational planning for school-aged children and their families. Services focus on skill development, academic transitions, and informed decision-making to help students navigate educational pathways with clarity and confidence. Support is tailored to each family’s goals, needs, and stage of learning.
Novería & Co.
Novería is a reflective learning platform that supports informed independence, personal awareness, and self-leadership. Through writing, guided reflection, and educational resources, Novería invites women to strengthen inner clarity, voice, and agency as they navigate transition and growth. The work emphasizes insight, resilience, and intentional choice.

Founding Story
Milestones of Love Society was established in December 2024 in response to a persistent gap many families face — the space between what is expected of mothers and children, and the access they are given to meet those expectations. This gap is often most visible during periods of transition, when resilience is assumed but support is fragmented.
The Society was formed to help bridge this gap by creating pathways of care that recognize emotional well-being, stability, learning, and opportunity as interconnected. Support opportunities are delivered through aligned partners — including Redboots Learning, Howell Academics, and Novería — and through ongoing collaboration with community organizations committed to supporting women and children.
Guided by lived experience and informed by community-based work alongside organizations such as Darkness to Light, Foster Love, Better Life Foundation, and Childhelp, Milestones of Love is grounded in the belief that meaningful change requires collective responsibility.
Milestones of Love is led by a Board committed to thoughtful governance, accountability, and impact. Our hope is not only to steward existing partnerships, but to continue building a growing network of partners of care — organizations, professionals, and communities who share a commitment to strengthening access, honouring individual stories, and supporting women and children through every season of life.
