Redboots® December Update + Important Holiday Information
Dear Parents,
I can hardly believe we are already in the first week of December—time has truly flown. It has been such a joy welcoming your children into our new Flag Learning Space over these past two weeks.
A few highlights from our first two weeks together:
-
Settling beautifully into our new space and building comfort with new routines
-
Strengthening early literacy and numeracy foundations through hands-on, play-based activities
-
Wonderful collaborative moments during our Wonder Circles
-
Increased confidence in fine-motor work and early writing tasks
-
Growing friendships and curiosity during our outdoor nature transitions
(Photos bellow are some magic moments as well.)

Holiday + Program Updates
🌟 Holiday Break
Redboots® will be closed from December 19th and will reopen on January 15th.
🌟 January Assessment Support
Many schools begin their admissions assessments early in the new year. To ensure every child is fully supported, we will be offering private sessions during the break, and I will reach out individually to families as needed.
🌟 Year-End Report Cards
Before the term ends, you will receive your child’s Redboots® Year-End Report, outlining strengths, growth areas, and next-step recommendations. During the break, I will also be finalizing updated policies and procedures to ensure we continue delivering the highest standard of care, consistency, and excellence.
🌟 Wednesday Reminder
Please note that this Wednesday’s December 3, 2025, 9:30–11:30am class is cancelled as I will be attending my daughter’s Winter Holiday Concert.
A make-up session will be available from 4:00–5:30pm, or you may choose to receive a credit.
As always, if you have any questions or need anything at all, please feel welcome to reach out. It continues to be an honour to support your child’s learning journey at Redboots®.
Warmly,
Paula Howell
